HOMESTAY

Our families at HIS are very excited to welcome visitors to our school and to Harare.  Due to this, we are offering a limited number of places, on first come, first served basis, for home stay for students coming from outside of Harare. This includes students who live more than 45 minutes out of Harare. Upon registration, please mention that you are interested in the home stay option, and further information will be communicated to you.

Homestay for directors: Last year, we did provide some home stays for MUN Directors with HIS teachers. Most of us live in large, very secure houses and could provide directors with a room for your stay. We will charge a rate of $30pp/pn for this, which will include breakfast, laundry (if wanted) and transport to and from the conference.  Please indicate if you are interested in this option that would save you money, as well as giving you an opportunity to meet some new people! We will work with the HIS community to place people in an appropriate home.

We will soon have a form here to complete once interest is confirmed.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION 

We can only provide the home stay option for the nights of the conference (possibly for the Wednesday and Sunday night also). Therefore, if you would like to combine your visit with some additional days of sightseeing, we recommend the following hotel.    If you are staying here, HIS will provide free transport to and from the conference.

A small (6 rooms, plus guesthouse) that would be perfect for MUN Directors to stay in. Transport will be provided from this hotel. Rates are:

Single occupancy  ( B&B )  95.00   / 1,330.00
Double occupancy ( B&B ) 130.00 / 1,820.00

However, we are working with the hotel to see if we can get a special price for our conference.
